Founder & Principal

Gabriela’s passion for law and dedication to her clients have driven her nearly two-decade career as the Founder & Principal at Haven Recruiting Group. Her legal journey began with a law degree from Southern Methodist University. During her time in law school, Gabriela distinguished herself as a Staff Editor for the International Law Review and an active member of the Phi Delta Phi Honor Legal Fraternity. Her legal career took off at the prestigious international law firm of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P., where she was heavily involved in large-scale litigation disputes.

Despite her success as a litigation attorney, Gabriela realized that her true passion lay in connecting with people rather than working behind a desk. This revelation led her to establish Haven Recruiting Group, where she leverages her deep personal relationships and extensive legal expertise to match partners and practice groups with top-tier law firms. Gabriela’s commitment to her clients is evident whether she is facilitating strategic growth for firms in new practice areas or geographic locations, or helping legal professionals navigate their career transitions.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Gabriela is dedicated to giving back to her community. She founded a scholarship fund to provide underprivileged students with access to higher education and supports cancer research at the UT Southwestern Harold Sammons Cancer Center in honor of her father. Gabriela was born in Romania and is fluent in Romanian, Spanish, and English.
